Gaming giant Amuzo deliver faster services with IDE Group leased line.
Award-winning gaming company Amuzo has worked with world class brands including the BBC, LEGO, Disney, and Warner Bros, leveraging the power of games within a company’s marketing strategy. Amuzo develop games specifically to market a brand, product, or company message in a dynamic, innovative, and cost-effective way.
Amuzo operate from an office on the south coast of the UK, the so called ‘Silicon South’, employing 28 developers, designers, and gaming experts within their creative force. In the past two years alone, their branded games have been played more than ¾ billion times and have reached the no. 1 spot on the iOS App Store in 150 countries.
With the number of smart devices surpassing the number of human beings on Earth in 2015, and, according to Deloitte, one in six adults looking at their mobile phone more than 50 times a day, Amuzo base their business on getting company brands on these devices and in front of target audiences in the most effective and impactful way.
From conception to completion, IDE Group’s dedicated leased line took three months and, as well as being 10 times faster than their original 100Mbps leased line, Amuzo also have the added benefit of being on-net with IDE Group’s MPLS network. This means they have direct access to a whole host of additional services including SP connect, which provides direct connections to Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. From a security perspective, they can also now benefit from DDoS protection services, access to disaster recovery sites, local and national colocation facilities, and much more.
“When our leased line went live we actually couldn’t measure how fast it was because it was off the speedtest charts! We are so excited about the upgraded level of service we can now offer our customers and with increased productivity who knows what we are now capable of! IDE Group have become a trusted advisor for us on all things connectivity and IT infrastructure-related; they are an extremely valued extension of our IT arm.
Every business is fast moving and this is especially the case for a technology focused business like Amuzo. Our whole company is focused on keeping people’s attention, so allowing our guys to work at the pace they wish and give our clients the results they want even faster is only going to boost our success. My only regret is not doing it sooner.”
