IDE Group’s network helps Securus to offer triple cloud failover.
Securus, the Private Wide Area Networking company with a view that service is key, took up IDE Group services after deciding they were what was needed to ensure their clients received the ‘always live’ uptime that they were promised.
Securus were struggling to find a provider that could be the foundation of their business; they were looking at multiple providers who could each look after certain racks in certain data centres, but still had missing links. Therefore, they were not only struggling to effectively peer between data centres but were also missing out on a larger customer base. Because Securus’ work is based on managing customer networks that are already in data centres (DCs), they needed an inside track which was the most connected in order to provide the best possible solutions for their clients.
The living partner relationship
Before and during the living partner relationship, IDE Group’s partner team have continued to work on future business plans with Securus to ensure their technology will allow them unrelenting growth. Maintaining IT infrastructure as the foundation of Securus’ business requires a wholly honest relationship and the partnership has allowed this consistently.
The IDE Group solution will continue to improve business for Securus as it has ultimately extended Securus’ reach considerably, allowing them to link in a virtual way with all the DCs that sit on IDE Group’s network already. This has opened up an ever-expanding pool of customers who share DC space with IDE Group.
Securus are about uptime; everything they do is geared around making sure their customers get access to their cloud-based applications 24/7/365 without outages and problems. As a result, the IDE Group culture of relentlessly protecting customers and ensuring live time has been invaluable to Securus.
