IDE Group was very pleased to welcome 14 candidates to its IDE Group apprentice assessment day on Wednesday.

The session was very much about making sure candidates found out more about IDE Group, our culture and what an apprenticeship with us involves, as well as IDE Group staff assessing them for their suitability for the schemes.

Andy Ross, our CEO, welcomed all the candidates and spoke of his personal support for apprenticeships and the important role he sees them playing in support IDE Group’s ambitious plans for the future. Mark Farrar, Head of Delivery Services, spoke about where the apprenticeships fit into IDE Group’s organisation, the meaningful roles the candidates will be taking up and the support the apprentices will receive.

The day moved into a mix of group exercises, practical and theoretical IT assessments, speed interviews and a tour of our main office in Croydon. We saw some great candidates on the day and were delighted to be able to make offers to eight of the 14 that attended. We’re pleased to say all eight candidates have accepted our offers and we can’t wait for their journey to start with IDE Group!
