IDE Group’s service desk was recently shortlisted for ‘Service Management Team of the Year’ in the ITSMF’s Professional Service Management Awards.

Award Ceremony

The award ceremony was on Wednesday night and a big contingent from the service desk attended.

While we didn’t win our category, the award went to the National Grid’s support team, we did come away with a special, ‘Highly Commended’, award.

Service Desk Recognition

This recognition is rarely given and we were one of only two companies to be awarded with it this year.  The judges said IDE Group showed passion, team spirit and great customer service. Both IDE Group and National Grid were deemed to be exceptional and the judges decided to acknowledge both companies on the night because it was such a close call.

Being recognised for excellence among our industry peers shows how the hard work of everyone in the team helps to deliver the really great service to customers that we’re so focused on.
